Martin Willis works on the SNAP Helpline as a specialist for The Food Bank Council of Michigan. He works to help complete applications for food assistance and other benefit programs for clients, along with providing food and other resources to everyone in need.

Willis is the son of a career public defender who has always instilled in him the belief that everyone deserves to live their lives with dignity and respect no matter what their life circumstances. He has previously worked in the social services field as an eligibility specialist for the Department of Job and Family Services in Stark County Ohio and as the Spectran ride coordinator at Disability Network here in Lansing. He is a graduate of Kent State University with a BA degree in Political Science.
