Certainly the first few weeks of the new administration has brought about change and with it has come loss and perhaps the opportunity for gain. Staple programs that help people find some stability in this inflation driven economy are changing and loss is a part of that change. To what extent, we do not know but change is inevitable.

Thankfully, there have been some visionary leaders who have seen the value of the work our food banks do for families across the state. Today our guest is one of those visionary leaders, State Representative Phil Green who serves Michigan 67th district is made up of part of Genesee, Lapeer and Tuscola counties.
