Bon Voyage, Gerry Brisson!

For decades at Gleaners Community Food Bank, Gerry invested his one handful of life into something bigger than himself: making sure families across southeast Michigan found nourishment, dignity, and hope. His fingerprints are on every meal served, every program created, every life touched.

Now, Gerry is stepping into a new season. He’s shifting some of that handful of life from the boardroom and warehouse toward joy, play, and well-earned rest. But in true Gerry fashion, he’s not walking away from mission.

He’s launching Know Better, Do Better (KBDB) — more than a business, it’s a movement. It’s about wisdom in action, conversations that change culture, and leaving the world better than we found it.

What’s next for Gerry? Still invested in mission. Still committed to wisdom. Still pouring out influence. And now, doing it with joy.

Because that’s what it means to live your one handful of life fully.
