The Food Bank Council of Michigan (FBCM) recently announced that veteran food bank executive Marsha Keefer has joined the organization as its new chief operating officer and Dr. Dawn Opel, who formerly served as the Council’s chief operating officer and general counsel, has been promoted to chief innovation officer. She remains in her role as general counsel.

Triscuit, an iconic brand known for its layered, woven wheat crackers, has announced a $150,000 donation to the Food Bank Council of Michigan in collaboration with Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation.

The Food Bank Council of Michigan is celebrating the conclusion of its 2022 Michigan Harvest Gathering donation campaign, which generated over $145,735 in donations from businesses, organizations, farmers and individuals from across the state.
