Leadership Update: Dawn Opel Appointed President of the Food Bank Council of Michigan
The Food Bank Council of Michigan is sharing a leadership update as the organization continues to innovate, deepen partnerships, and work collaboratively toward its mission of serving Michiganders facing food insecurity.
Dr. Dawn Opel has been appointed President of the Food Bank Council of Michigan. In this role, she will provide organizational leadership in partnership with CEO Dr. Phil Knight, supporting strategy, alignment, and execution across the organization. Dawn will also continue to serve as Chief Innovation Officer, where she has led collaborative initiatives, partnerships, and new approaches that expand access to food and resources across Michigan.
