Food Bank Council of Michigan Welcomes Denise Donahue as Director of Communications

The Food Bank Council of Michigan (FBCM) is proud to announce Denise Donahue as its Director of Communications. In this role, Denise will oversee all aspects of FBCM’s communication strategy, including messaging, branding, and storytelling, to enhance the organization’s mission of ending hunger in Michigan.

With over two decades of experience in marketing, business development, and project management, Denise brings a proven ability to craft impactful strategies that inspire action and build strong relationships. Her career spans leadership roles in creative marketing, client account management, and nonprofit communications, equipping her with a deep understanding of how to engage diverse stakeholders and amplify organizational impact.

“Denise’s extensive expertise in developing communication strategies and fostering collaboration aligns perfectly with our vision to ensure no Michigander goes without food,” said Dr. Phil Knight, Executive Director of FBCM. “We’re thrilled to welcome her leadership as we continue to raise awareness, advocate for solutions, and drive meaningful change in the fight against hunger.”
