Hunters Feeding Michigan Breaks Record for Donated Venison

Michigan hunters helped provide more meals than ever before through the Hunters Feeding Michigan program, which connects deer donations with food banks and community organizations statewide. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources announced that hunters contributed a record 140,000 pounds of venison last year — enough to provide more than 560,000 servings of venison to Michiganders facing hunger.
