Mike Koestler joined FBCM in October 2022 as the Manager of SNAP Outreach. In this role, Mike serves alongside partner food banks to increase access to the Food Assistance Program across the state by promoting awareness, decreasing stigmas and removing barriers to SNAP benefits. 

Prior to joining FBCM, Mike graduated from Michigan State University before moving overseas and working in the nonprofit sector for eight years. After returning to the states, he was thrilled at the opportunity to join the efforts to establish a food-secure state in Michigan.
