Lauren DeLuca

Lauren DeLuca serves as a SNAP Helpline Specialist. In this role, she is responsible for assisting clients that are seeking to connect to resources and services through our statewide helpline, to support FBCM’s efforts to increase access to food assistance in Michigan.

DeLuca graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts focusing on the Spanish language. Prior to working for the Food Bank Council of Michigan, she worked as a Spanish Interpreter in the medical field, which included working in various other capacities related to helping limited English proficient patients. DeLuca enjoys linking callers, in need of a variety of resources, with local agencies, that fit their needs. She looks forward to giving back by assisting in offering application assistance to residents of all of Michigan's 83 counties and hopes to bridge an additional gap for those that are Spanish speaking.
