Hamza Benzaim serves as a SNAP Helpline Specialist. In this role, he is responsible for assisting clients that are seeking to connect to resources and services through our statewide helpline, to support FBCM’s efforts to increase access to food assistance in Michigan. 

Benzaim has a degree in hospitality. Prior to working for the Food Bank Council of Michigan, he has worked in customer service and assisting with technical support. Benzaim enjoys making a difference by connecting clients with food resources and helping to apply for the Food Assistance Program, and working towards eliminating food insecurity in the community.
