Eileen Spring is Food Gatherers President and CEO. Now in her 28th year with the organization, Ms. Spring has helped develop and steward a community-wide Food Security Plan that dramatically improved the amount of fresh produce and protein available to individuals struggling with food insecurity.  She is active on the board of the Food Bank Council of Michigan and has served on the national council for Feeding America and the local FEMA board. She is a founding member of the Washtenaw Housing Alliance and has more than 30 years of experience in grassroots organizing and nonprofit management. Spring received her bachelor's degree from Hofstra University and her master's degree from the University of Michigan.
