I am proud to be a resident of Michigan, a beautiful state that is fortunate to have land and agriculture as diverse and resilient as its people. I enjoy engaging with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Through SNAP Outreach, I have the pleasure to work directly with those we serve. Advocates often say that they are the voice for those that have none. I firmly believe that every person has their own voice; my role is to listen to those voices, amplify them so others hear them as well. I am passionate about working to address the social determinants of health to create a better Michigan for all. Addressing food insecurity is pivotal in achieving health equity in our great state, and SNAP plays a critical role in doing so.
