Michigan Harvest Gathering
What is the Michigan Harvest Gathering?
The Michigan Harvest Gathering (MHG) is an annual statewide campaign that raises food and funds for Michigan’s emergency food response. Since 1991, the Attorney General Bill Schuette and his wife, Cynthia Schuette, have partnered with the Food Bank Council of Michigan to help strengthen the capacity of our state’s emergency food response. In its first 28 years, the MHG Campaign raised over 81 million meals to help those in need!
Secretary of State offices throughout Michigan are collecting food donations until November 15, 2019. Drop off non-expired, non perishable items for Michigan Harvest Gathering.
Kickoff is Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. at Hunter Park GardenHouse.
Celebratory Closing Luncheon is Wednesday, November 13.
