Organize a Food Drive
Local food banks rely on groups and individuals who conduct food drives. For information on how your community, school or place of employment can hold a food drive see our A Successful Food Drive guide or contact your local food bank.
Give Time
The Food Bank Council of Michigan’s network of food banks and over 3,100 community agencies could not exist without the thousands of volunteers who sort donated food, hold food drives, pack pantry bags and serve meals. All which is done in the spirit of helping friends, neighbors and community members who need emergency food assistance.
The food bank network offers everyone a chance to participate. For those who alreay have given of their time, we say “thank you” and ask for your continued support. For those want to volunteer and help the hungry in your community, please call your local food bank. |
